May Lee is an award-winning broadcast journalist who has worked as an anchor, correspondent and talk show host with prominent media outlets including CNN, CNBC, Oxygen Media and NHK. Currently she is the host and executive producer of “Shoes Off Inside” (fka "The May Lee Show"), Professor at Chapman University Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, and founder of Lotus Media House. When fear and violence exploded due to COVID-19 in 2020, May became a leading voice in educating and empowering the Asian American community. May’s production company, Lotus Media House, partnered with NextShark, the leading Asian online news source, to launch “The May Lee Show” in early 2020. The show evolved into “Shoes Off Inside with MKT”, where May is joined by co-hosts and iconic actors Kelly Hu and Tamlyn Tomita, to talk about any and all issues honestly and fearlessly. Recognized for her powerful voice for Asian Americans, May was named one of Forbes 50 Over 50 women leading the way in impact in 2021.
