Manage and execute Internal Audit outsourced and co-sourced engagements for various clients. Responsibilities include executing risk assessments to develop annual audit plans, scoping, development of workprograms and document request lists, testing of key controls, developing process maps, reviewing work product, and reporting to management. Work closely with client personnel to develop an understanding of applicable areas under review. Identify deficiencies and recommendations for improvement based upon best practices to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness. Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance (SOX): Manage annual SOX testing for clients across industries, including establishing year-one SOX. Coordinate with management and external auditors to complete SOX scoping and testing and assist management with building controls and with control rationalization to develop a defined control inventory. Manage execution of walkthroughs as well as interim and remediation/rollforward testing. Develop testing plans, monitor execution, provide status updates to management, and complete reviews of testing sheets. Assist management with aggregation analysis for deficiencies.

Reviewed SSAE16 – SOC1 Client Consideration Controls to ensure they had adequate controls in place and tested Application and IT General Computer Controls. Responsibilities included creating documents request lists and work programs, meeting with process owners to complete testing of assigned controls and processes, documenting testing results and relevant findings, creating/updating testing deliverables, and assisting with report observations. IT Risk AssessmentsCompleted in-depth IT Risk Assessments at varies clients to determine the current state of risks and implemented mitigating controls to reduce the overall risk to an acceptable amount of residual risk. IT SecurityAssisted in the remediation of SOX Security Compliance Audit Findings for a bank with over $800 billion in total assets. Focused on the security process of Database Logging and Monitoring for the four platforms utilized by the bank: SQL, DB2, Oracle, and Sybase. Reviewed the processes and procedures utilized by the bank, met with key process owners, and helped to create an improved solution in order for the bank to meet SOX Security Compliant requirements.ERP SolutionsTested and verified key IT automated controls (ITACs) during an Oracle R12 Implementation for a large technology security company. Reviewed results of the ITAC settings with business process owners in order to determine configuration values for the controls that had not been previously defined during blueprinting.
