I was responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, crisp content, which entails:Editing as per the specifications of the Chicago Manual of Style Editing several types of reports including: - Index summaries - Sector-specific reports - Industry primers - Earnings notes - Daily market updates - IRC 409 A valuation reports - Company profiles - Intellectual property reportsMoreover, I provided language/grammar training to the team of editors as well as analysts.I also authored articles for the company's blogs (check out my "Featured" articles).

My primary responsibilities comprised the following:• Auditing in-house editor and freelancer files to ensure that the in-house style and protocols were maintained• Liaising with the project management team for tasks related to the allotment of manuscripts to freelancers and in-house editors for editing and for delivering good-quality, error-free manuscripts• Liaising with the freelance recruiting team to ensure the recruitment of appropriate freelancers for the project• Mentoring and providing feedback to both in-house associate editors and freelancers for alignment of proofread quality with the protocols and expectations of the project• Communicating with senior management and other stakeholders to ensure continuous performance improvement (in terms of both operations and quality) and smooth functioning of the project

I was responsible for editing manuscripts written by ESL authors. Because I have a background in Chemistry, the documents I edited were primarily related to various chemistry-related research topics. My responsibilities included the following:• Editing manuscripts while ensuring that client requirements are met• Maintaining the in-house style and protocols for every assignment• Liasoning with the project management team to deliver good-quality, error-free manuscriptsI also mentored junior editors in my team, audited editor and freelancer files, provided feedback for editor and freelance quality, and communicated with clients for addressing issues.

I worked in the capacity of Technical Assistant (Science) in the project, titled "Continuation of Closed Loop Studies for ICT-OEC Cu-Cl Cycle for Hydrogen Production " under the supervision of Professor G.D. Yadav (Principal Investigator).My responsibilities involved performing basic laboratory volumetric analysis and interpreting data on compounds obtained through instrumental analysis. As the project was at the pilot plant scale, I also got the opportunity to operate reactors in batch mode through SCADA.
