I was responsible for responding to tender requests for facilities management services within the retail, corporate, education and healthcare sectors ranging in value from £250,000 to £4,000,000 per annum. This role involved liaising with potential clients to ensure that their business needs are fully understood and met through our innovative proposition..

• Key responsibilities include:
• To lead, manage and develop cost estimates for major FM bids, technically and commercially in accordance with company ethics, procedures and guidelines
• Ensure that all the necessary suppliers and benchmark sources are co-ordinated and managed in the most efficient and effective way to maximise the accuracy of the pricing.
• Develop supplier packs to distribute internally and externally as required for services to be priced.
• Create appropriate pricing strategy based on SGP pricing bids and then engaging with suppliers.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, representing the company at site visits and other meetings, being prepared to input into presentations to prospective clients and SGP’s senior management.

Reviewed the then current planned process to identify areas of improvement to ensure that planned maintenance was delivered within strict timelines, in many cases to ensure legal compliance for approximately the then 860 pubs owned and managed by Punch. This involved communicating with contractors ensure that they are attending sites and are providing all.

Responsible for auditing the reactive and remedial maintenance work carried out by contractors on approximately 280 stores owned by A.S. Watson. This initially involved approving or rejecting repair requests on their individual merits to prevent frivolous spending by store managers. I would then visit the store and check the quality and amount of work.
