From a young age, I have always appreciated the intricacies and potential of data. When I was 10 years old, I would meticulously track my golf statistics in Excel while competing in junior tournaments. Throughout the years, I would use this data to guide my practice sessions and to better understand my game. This early fascination with data evolved into a strong foundation in statistics at Carnegie Mellon University where I earned a B.S. in Statistics and Economics in 3.5 years. Post-graduation, I transitioned into a career as a Data Engineer.Through my previous work experience, I have honed my skills in utilizing statistical packages in Python, R, and SQL to extract and present actionable insights from complex datasets. In my previous role at Alphataraxia, I used these skills to forecast electricity prices, formulate data-centric investment strategies for electricity market auctions, and effectively manage risk. At Qualtrics I created dashboards to assess the performance and areas of improvement of sales representatives to help increase profitability. In both roles, I also focused on database management. I have utilized R, Python, PHP, SQL, and Snowflake to programmatically scrape, clean, and store wide-ranging data. I understand how to design streamlined SQL database schemas to efficiently store large amounts of data and optimize query runtime. I'm excited about the intersection of data analytics, innovation, and real-world impact. I hope to continue turning my enthusiasm for data into a career that combines technical expertise with a commitment to harnessing the power of analytics. I look forward to connecting with recruiters, professionals, and anyone who shares a passion for this dynamic landscape.
