As a research assistant for the Robotics Systems Lab, I did research and assisted in the testing of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) in marine environments. In addition, I lead a group of students in the design of a system that will explore the biosphere in the sub-seafloor in the Pacific Ocean.

As a tour guide of the School of Engineer, I introduce prospective students to the facilities and opportunities available at Santa Clara University.

Conducted research with Drexel University's Dynamic Characterization Group on the thermomechanical processing of an aluminum alloy to increase its corrosion resistance. The research was funded by the National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) summer program. Received an award for best research summary poster.
