I design, develop, and integrate software solutions for Trillium Engineering. I work with a variety of embedded, desktop, and server environmentsProjects:HD25/HD50/Custom Retract Control Software: Firmware written for TI MSP430 micro-controller to handle serial communications, discreet I/O, and motor controlCAN Streaming Data Communications Protocol Implementation: Implemented the streaming data communication layer over CAN with abstraction layers for SocketCAN, sysTec CAN Proprietary Windows Drivers, and TI TMS320/TI-RTOS. AlGi Robot System Software: Alignment Gimbal (AlGi) software design and implementation. Designed and Implemented QT UI software to manage and control the IMU alignment process for the Trillium AlGi Robot. This robot automates and parallelizes what was an imprecise, manual, and serialized production step. The AlGi Robot helps Trillium deliver sub 1 degree geolocation accuracy.Trillium Mission Computer: Evaluation of various Intel Atom ComE SOM modules and testing for use in our Mapper Gimbal application. Linux dev system setup and image creation. MSATA vs uSD usability and performance evaluation for operating system/application storage. Filesystem performance testing for image capture/storage to external device. GigE camera interface software integration support. Implementation of MissCoAngel daemon application, and the corresponding web frontend. Snoopy Gimbal: HTML5 web frontend, websockets realtime gimbal interface, OpenCV image processing and autofocus algorithms, USB3 camera interface software with 10 FPS high resolution (18MP) still frame capture. Mission computer, Gimbal, Skylink, and Web Frontend integrations and communication.
