- Directly lead a team of 7 Procurement Managers, and 1 CP Manager Indirectly, in developing commercially competitive Contracting & Procurement strategies for Retail Marketing which meets the Business Demand while taking into account potential implementation of Global Strategies at local/regional level- Actively drive the Retail CEE Business Agenda and contribute input spend data, market analysis, etc. to support CP bottom-up input to the T&R planning process- As part of CEE Retail Management Team contribute to broader Retail goals and ambitions of the cluster- Ensure all cluster contracts strategies supports Goal Zero Aspiration through implementation of robust Contractor Safety Management practices and alignment to Shell’s personal and process safety Goal Zero focus areas- Proactively identify & understand commercial/procurement needs from internal business partners (Shell Retail Business) and collaboratively propose competitive solutions- Actively drive Line of Sight, Local Contract and Value Board initiatives. This may involve constructively challenging the Business Demand and/or Procurement Practices in order to drive value and efficiency- Manage Supplier Relationship effectively and collaboratively drive continuous performance improvement via relevant contract key metrics- Build and maintain strong network in the market, fully aware of supplier developments and opportunities coming up in the market for all spend categories and geographies.- Lead negotiations including resolution of operational and supplier performance issues relating to the contract.- Contributing to the development of category strategies and ensuring the effective and efficient execution of category strategies at all levels including global category strategies.- Builds effective working relationships with others and makes a constructive contribution within the wider European Retail Procurement team.
