Engineered a continuous coating machine for Osnate-D (Ossein Mineral Complex) tablets with 3 other outstanding engineering interns. I was responsible for designing the parts making up the machine from the ground up followed by computationally simulating the machine working with said tablets in real time and pairing results obtained with empirical data collected about the tablets in order to present a realistic model backed with sensitive analysis for implementation in the real world.During the internship I gained in-depth insight into the inner workings of not only tablet making but also the production of tablet packaging. The plant also housed an absorption chiller system with R717 (Ammonia) as a primary refrigerant.
