In the beginning of 2023, I was hired on as a full-time employee for the Street Maintenance division, 1 of 7 departments within Saint Paul Public Works. As an Office Assistant my responsibilities include filing paperwork, creating request forms, handling department accounts payables, and answering complaint calls from the public up to 60/hr. I am excited to have the opportunity to continue serving my community through Public Works.

Office Aide

St Paul, Minnesota, United States

I began my time here in March 2022 as a temporary office aide. My responsibilities included time keeping management using TASS systems and processing accounts payables <$10,000. By implementing structured digital and paper filing systems, errors decreased by 25%, and document retention was improved. During peak season, I independently managed a high volume of service calls and diligently recorded complaint forms and work order history using the program FileMaker and Microsoft Application software.

Catering Team Lead

Dots Gray

United States

Dots Gray is a purpose-built commissary kitchen designed to support food entrepreneurs by fostering a community that inspires, promotes positivity, and facilitates business growth. In this capacity, I contributed to assistant chef duties within the workspace, adapting to the unique requirements of up to three different businesses simultaneously. One of these businesses, Butcher Salt, operates as a mobile food and beverage service from the commissary, and I have been actively involved, gaining valuable experience in Front of House (FOH), Back of House (BOH), and Team Lead roles across various catering settings.

May 2021 - May 2024

Team Lead

St Paul, Minnesota, United States

For six years, I dedicated myself to working at the Minnesota State Fair, starting at the Blue Moon Dine-in Theatre even before obtaining my driver's permit! Progressing from pizza prep my initial year, quickly moving to Cashier and to Expo in the following year, where I managed the timely flow and accuracy of orders. I held this position for two more years before assuming the role of team lead in 2019. Despite the fair's cancellation in May 2020, I returned in the following two years as the Assistant Manager of evening shifts. During this time, I took on responsibilities for Front of House operations, closing duties, and overseeing up to 20 staff members throughout the season. From 2020 to 2023, I was also invited to supervise various events held at the fairgrounds. Serving thousands of customers daily, acting as a point of contact for vendor concerns, and contributing to the creation of a new fair food item (smoked soft serve, released in 2021), my passion for food and community flourished at the Blue Moon. However, due to a shift in personal commitments, I regrettably retired in the fall of 2023, concluding my fulfilling tenure at the fair.

Aug 2017 - Aug 2023

Service Worker- Mn Vikings Foundation

Minnesota, United States

Over nearly two years, I assisted in management of the Minnesota Vikings Foundation food truck, Vikings Table, where I not only served healthful meals but provided nutrition education to diverse communities across the Minneapolis-Metropolitan area. Under such a prominent brand, I ensured a friendly and family-oriented service during events, consistently exceeding customer satisfaction goals by serving up to 500 customers per hour. After 6 months of employment, I took on additional responsibilities overseeing food production, managing inventory, tracking revenue and meal donation supplies, as well as handling equipment and event record-keeping. My time with Vikings Table allowed me to merge my passion for sports and community, unite Minnesotans and contribute to a cause aligned with my personal values.

May 2021 - Jan 2023

Dsp

Golden Valley, Minnesota, United States

I worked as an overnight staff at Meridian Health, assisting adults with autism and developmental disabilities through their day-to-day. I worked closely 1-1 with each adult and provided care in an aggressive "Level 5" group home. In such an environment, I am presented with challenging behaviors: some verbal, and some physical. Since working alongside these challenging behaviors, I have learned how to use positive behavioral management- a technique I have learned is useful when not working as well. De-Escalating situations involving aggressive adults is vital, as safety must come first in these events. I communicate well during these times and have rarely if-ever needed to use emergency precautions. I provided support in accomplishing activities and tasks; successfully educating multiple independent tasks, after 6 months of work.

Jan 2020 - Jan 2022

Shift Lead

Coon Rapids, Minnesota, United States

While employed as a crew member at Dairy Queen, I held diverse responsibilities including money handling, sanitation, customer service, and food quality. During peak hours, I served an average of 24 customers per hour, consistently leaving a positive impression and contributing to a favorable image of Dairy Queen. Additionally, I was entrusted to represent Dairy Queen at various events such as baseball parks, birthdays, and fulfilling business orders. Beyond work, I initiated a community tradition within the City of Coon Rapids sports leagues, establishing Dairy Queen as a post-victory “dub-hub” that extended to surrounding suburbs.
