As an "intrapreneur" I've made it my focus to use employee participation and data collection to develop a wellness program improving the mental, physical, and environmental well-being of the working environment. It's time to start saving money by investing in a happy, healthy workforce.

The Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise (GSSE) program at CSU provides the traditional skills of an MBA and the additional tools to apply them to achieve social, environmental, and financial sustainability in business operations. The program has an entrepreneurial focus which provided me the opportunity participate as a cofounder of local Colorado start-up as well as a consultant to a socially-oriented for-profit business in Haiti. The curriculum revolves around the entrepreneurial conception, planning, and implementation of starting a venture. My time here was spent with an internationally diverse group and provided the skills necessary to do business around the world.

Automotive Credit Corporation (ACC) gave me the skills to assess a customer's creditworthiness in the context of high-risk automotive loans. My responsibilities here included analyzing credit reports line by line, working with auto dealers to find an appropriate vehicle for the customer, and structuring a fair loan for all parties involved. ACC is a conservative and responsible lender in an industry that has seen incredibly reckless financial practice. I am thankful for the responsible mentality it has instilled in me.

As an intern I worked to identify future business opportunities in two specific regions of the US. The focus was profitably reducing carbon emissions in the Tennessee Valley Authority and Bonneville Power Administration areas. This was one of my greatest and most worthwhile experiences.

I worked in the credit department at Automotive Credit Corp. as part of a team to determine the financial ability of clients and the specifications of their financing. My responsibilities were primarily verifications and data work within custom company software.

My responsibilities here included data entry and skip-tracing social security numbers to locate debtors and assist in the collection of defaulted loans.
