In charge of the Import Department, looking after all aspects of inbound shipments from the port of Melbourne through to delivery of goods to the clients home, including Sales, Customs clearance, Quarantine inspection & all wharf related cartage. We deal with used household & personal effects and also the odd commercial shipment.Chess can arrange a full.

Looked after several trade lanes (USA / Taiwan & South East Asia) - Registrations, Markoff with SS Line and billing the shipments and releasing documents to customs brokers for clearance. DHL is a Large Freight Forwarder with key accounts so getting information correct and meeting high KPI's was essential in this role.

Worked in the Import Department, dealing with all aspects of the import seafreight department, ranging from registraions, lodging SCA, marking off with SS Lines & billing shipments to the point of handing over to customs brokers.

Completed Cert III in Offcie Administration. In the 3 years i worked in every position learning how the company operated, and in the end was mainly in the International Department (Imports & Exports) with a brief stint in Operations and Sales.
