Biomedical Sciences undergraduate at Coventry University with a robust academic and practical foundation in genomics, proteomics, and hands-on research experience. As a Research Intern at Decode Genomics, I’ve developed and applied skills in molecular docking and simulation techniques, contributing to impactful projects in antibiotic resistance and drug discovery. My work has led to publications, including a preprint on BioRxiv and another study under review, showcasing my ability to design and execute research methodologies that enhance predictive power and accuracy. Alongside my technical expertise, I’ve gained valuable teaching experience as a Science and Maths Tutor with Manning’s Tutors, where I guided over 26 students through personalized strategies that improved their confidence and performance. My role as a mentor with City Year has further sharpened my interpersonal skills, enabling me to create a supportive and motivating environment for secondary school students.Additionally, my experience as a Bar Supervisor has honed my leadership abilities, inventory management, and resilience, equipping me to excel in high-pressure, fast-paced settings while maintaining health and safety standards. This role allowed me to meet budget targets and drive revenue, further developing my operational and organizational skills.
