American Blanket Company was started in 2012 and makes top quality fleece blankets. All of the blankets, throws and accessories are cut, sewn, packaged and shipped from Fall River, MA based out of the old Nonquit Mill next to the Quequechan River. Available online and in select retail locations in New England. While working at ABC I worked primarily on the website and in customer service - updating inventory descriptions and photos, processing retail orders, blogging, keeping our social media sites current and assisting with wholesale orders and embroidery.

I managed antique, reproduction and consignment inventory through Ponderosa (2000-2012) and Quickbooks (2012-2014): created and received purchase orders; ensured information on purchase orders is correct prior to sending to vendor to ensure smooth production & delivery of all items; created new item numbers with pertinent description for each individual item; tagged each item for inventory purposes and customer information- Created and maintained Excel spreadsheets to track open purchase orders according to date due, priority level- Maintained an open and approachable relationship with vendors to ensure merchandise is receive in a timely fashion; reach solutions that are amenable to customer if deadline is not met- Staged, photographed and uploaded photos of all current inventory to Leonards website using Expression Engine interface- Processed online orders in a timely fashion; provided customer service within a 24-hour timeframe to customers who inquire via email through the website- Maintained imagery and removed items once sold to provide current inventory online- Cross-posted pertinent sale information on our Facebook and Pinterest pages advertising monthly sales and the newest merchandise- Created mass emails for announcement of merchandise or showroom sales- Merchandised incoming inventory throughout showrooms including beds, casegoods, accessories and artwork- Provided excellent customer service in person, via email, over the phone and in person to answer questions and place orders. Follow up with customer once order is completed to be sure they are satisfied with their selection
