I have over 25 year experience working in the hospitality industry, motor industry, financial services sector. I have spent 20 years in the public service working with Cork County Council in clerical and administrative roles for 2 years and followed that up with 20 years in ICT. My role in ICT has progressed from initially providing technical support to users across a number of different business system platforms using varying technologies. I have spent 10 over years as a systems analyst, providing many support services and recommendations as well as consultation to many departments of our customer departments and department managers within Cork County Council. This led to project and project team management , vendor and contract management and staff and budgetary and financial management and control over the past 5 years. I was selected buy our Divisional manager to be a a member of the 'Service rePublic' which is a Service Design team that has been set up as a joint initiative between Cork County Council and Cork Institute of Technology. The purpose of Service rePublic is to promote Service Design methodologies and educational opportunities as well as transforming the design and and delivery of better customer services to the people of Cork county and beyond by Cork County Council .
