Editorial Content Manager
CurrentMy role today involves managing the editorial content on our different communication platforms, including website and social media. Communication has evolved a lot since the beginning of my career, and today there are many tools to hand that didn't exist before and that allow me to be creative and explore new avenues to communicate. I have successfully launched different initiatives to get the ESRF closer to our audiences and to show our stakeholders the work we do and how the ESRF is making an impact in society. I have developed an audiovisual strategy for our communications and now we use short videos as often as possible to give a taste of the science we do and our results. We also use videos to show life at the ESRF and how experiments are being carried out (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BNPBay5hD8 for example). These videos are very popular on social media and an excellent complement to the articles we write.Three years ago I created Humans of ESRF (https://humans.esrf.fr), a series of very short portraits with photos done by a professional photographer. The aim with this initiative is to "humanise science", so by providing portraits of our people, we explain our science at the same time in a different, more original way.
