I am an experienced publisher and director in the academic and educational publishing industry with lots of international experience, having spent time living and working in the UK and Canada as well as managing teams in North America and the UK over many years. As well as extensive knowledge of global markets, I have a broad range of experience across the higher education sector, having worked in the College and Library divisions for over 20 years.I have built and managed teams to deliver steaming video products to global markets for the past 8 years, and recently took up a position to lead on the strategy for Visual Media at SAGE Publishing, including new explorations into the potential for virtual reality in driving engagement and learning in HE. I also recently took on responsibility for leading our award-winning SAGE Research Methods digital library platform working with a very talented and passionate wider team.Finally, I am very interested in researching digital pedagogy and learning and have appeared at industry conferences presenting on these ideas and more.
