Her experience includes the representation of Fortune 50 companies and individuals at all stages of litigation in state, federal, and administrative forums. She represents clients in a wide range of industries, including health care, hospitality, staffing, technology, national retail, banking, and other financial services. Her diverse workplace litigation experience includes frequent representation of management in national class and collective actions. She has represented clients in investigations brought by governmental agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, State Attorney Generals’ Offices, and the National Labor Relations Board. She was chosen by her peers to be included in Florida Trend's Florida Legal Elite.™Catherine advises clients on practical legal solutions that meet business needs. She regularly counsels clients on strategies to avoid or mitigate risk for litigation and a variety of employment practices, including handbooks, background checks, and contracts. Prior to founding Losey PLLC, Catherine served as counsel at an international law firm and a commercial litigator at a national law firm. During her tenure at the prior law firms, she traveled extensively for compliance audits for a national bank and combined her technology skills and litigation experience to provide guidance on meeting data preservation obligations, taking and defending depositions of IT personnel and experts, developing strategies for cost reduction in harvesting and producing data in litigation, and managing cross border data issues.Catherine graduated cum laude from the University of Florida College of Law, where she served on the Executive Board of the Florida Law Review and as a member of Florida Blue Key. While in law school, Catherine interned for the Honorable Steven D. Merryday of the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida.
