As time progressed and with young management (Myself and others) we were ill prepared for the market and how to properly approach marketing and positioning ourselves with a minimum viable solution to take to market. This lead to us having a prolonged development cycle and inadequate knowledge in the places we needed it most. Though Jobbee didn't unfold, I learned so much from my time leading that team. To build a successful product, a company must above all else create a target market with a laser focus. If you don't know who your customers are, then your customers don't know who you are. After you identify a market, product development must be swift. Getting a stellar team behind you is next. The team must be on the understanding that the product must ONLY meet the minimum functionality (While being secure) to make sure you can grow in the market. A feature rich app that never sees the light of day was never an app to begin with. I could write more, but the main reason I wanted to note this was because up until now there was no note of the work I had done while in college.
