Worked directly with Director Cordray to identify consumer harm in the consumer financial marketplace. • To carry out their vision, partnered with Senators Elizabeth Warren, Barney Frank, and Carl Levin to implement the provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act• Promoting Consumer transparency and fairness, participated in rulemaking activities related to:Mortgage, Debt Collection, Credit Card, Payday, Money Remittance, Student Loans, Credit Reporting • Initiating the flow of complaints to named companies, personally boarded over 5000 consumer financial companies onto the CFPB complaints portal• All consumer financial regulations moved from prudential regulators (FDIC, OCC, FED) to the newly created CFPB, worked directly with regulators to coordinate activities during the transition of rules to the CFPB. Developed and implemented a portal for regulators to review CFPB complaints data to help further their missions.• Personally visited and met with U.S. Senators to discuss creating a complaints input channel for congressional offices to receive, input, and get an expedited response to complaints from their constituents. Fully implemented the system, including a particular unit inside the CFPB to manage congressional needs.• Public-facing role fronting relationships with covered companies, spoke nationally on CFPB related topics, including hundreds of industry groups, conventions, and 2012 in Boston at the assembly of all states attorney general.
