I'm so excited to be piloting this new role at Out of Hand: I am primarily focused on the experiences of community members as they engage with Out of Hand's extensive programming before, during, and after the interaction. A primary focus of my work is on equitable public health access and trafficking prevention in Georgia. I lead support with Hispanic communities to enhance vaccine accessibility and collaborate with schools to implement PACE, a trafficking prevention program for middle schools. By creating strategic communication plans, I ensure the community stays informed and engaged with Out of Hand’s mission. I build partnerships with schools, community organizations, and local businesses, source expert speakers, and lead volunteer engagement efforts. Working closely with our Communications team, I develop impactful marketing campaigns and post-event reports to amplify community engagement initiatives and ensure program success.

Anchor Hopsital provides emergency and crisis stabilization care to patients experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. As a member of the hospital's expressive therapy team, I design and facilitate therapeutic groups that utilize art, music, movement, and storytelling to promote self-expression, emotional resilience, and healing. Additionally, I work with our multidisciplinary team of clinicians to support treatment plans with targeted intervention for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. In addition to my therapeutic work, I am cross-trained in intake and admissions for our Psychiatric Emergency Department, performing clinical assessments, diagnostics, and other clinical case management tasks. This role allows me to support individuals in acute mental health crises, ensuring a compassionate and efficient intake process.

As the primary engagement professional on our team, I specialize in forging strong and sustainable cross sector partnerships. These programs utilize applied theatre techniques in diverse settings such as prisons, detention centers, retirement communities, schools, and other community environments to support social emotional development across ages. Utilizing strong program evaluation, we support leading data-driven initiatives that target partner goals.

As Co-Founder and Director of Education & Advocacy at the Association of Mental Health Coordinators, I was responsible for managing curriculum development, course design, and recruitment, while also fostering student mentorship and retention. I also provided services as a contracted mental health coordinator and consultant, conducting mental health first aid and trauma-informed training, leading policy audits and consultations to support effective mental health practices across consulting organizations. My role blended education, advocacy, and strategic partnerships to promote mental wellness.

At Someone Cares Atlanta, I began as a clinical counseling intern, managing a full caseload of individual clients in partnership with the clinical health team. I collaborated with a cross-disciplinary health team to support the mental, physical, emotional, and behavioral health of patients in intensive outpatient programs. I facilitated groups focused on expressive arts and worked with patients and their families, spanning from childhood to older adults. This role provided me with extensive experience serving people living with HIV and those on the LGBTQIA spectrum, aligning with the clinic's focus as a Ryan White facility.

At Atlanta Artist Relief Fund, we scaled a grassroots, volunteer meal train to a fully operational 501(c)3 direct service agency within 18 months. My work as Executive Director included managing company assets, optimizing financial operations, strategic planning, and providing leadership and professional development to staff. I

As a Member Care Team Member II at Jetty Insurance Agency, LLC, I provided top-tier customer service to policyholders and potential customers, ensuring clear communication and efficient resolution of inquiries. My responsibilities included assisting with policy quotes, coverage details, and updates, as well as processing applications, renewals, and cancellations. I handled customer complaints, collaborated with underwriters and claims representatives, and ensured compliance with insurance regulations. By maintaining accurate records and striving to enhance the customer experience, I consistently met key performance targets across multiple communication channels.

At Shakespeare Behind Bars, I facilitated arts programming for individuals of all ages within a variety of carceral settings. This role involved using poetry, theatre, music, and visual art to engage participants in meaningful creative expression, fostering personal growth and community within the carceral environment.
