I am a former elementary school teacher of 11 years. Since leaving the classroom, I have learned a great deal about High Quality OST programs and their benefits from working at the Andy Roddick Foundation. A lot of the work I did includes developing high quality resources for OST partners, creating and delivering monthly high quality professional development sessions and technical assistance, conducting observations and engaging in coaching and feedback with our partner programs to help them better engage in CQI. I am proficient in using a variety of assessment tools such as APT-O, PQA, DoS, PEAR, and more. I like to think of myself as partner in learning alongside our partners. I am relationship oriented and prioritize and value connections and relationship building.I joined TXPOST in 2024 as the Director of Programs to lead the organization’s quality improvement efforts and services expansion in and with out of school time (OST) programs and professionals. In this influential role, I manage relationships with OST intermediaries as well as direct service organizations. I also oversee strategic direction for all existing and future professional development and technical assistance offerings to provide relevant and high-quality support to the OST field.I was born to educate and love to empower others. I am extremely coachable and love to take on new challenges. I can work my way around most any project with little to no assistance and love to problem solve. I am a self starter, efficient and highly organized. I am a multitasker and have more energy than I know what to do with. I love being busy, challenged and fulfilling my passion of helping others!
