Corporate Development Manager
CurrentChildren’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) is a privately-funded program whose mission is to provide children from under-resourced Philadelphia families with financial access to quality, safe, K-8th grade, tuition-based schools, thereby increasing their long-term economic and social success. CSFP grants need-based, partial scholarships through a random lottery and is the largest K-8 scholarship program in the state of Pennsylvania.CSFP is primarily funded through Pennsylvania's two educational tax credit programs, the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC). These tax credit programs allow donors to transform the state tax dollars they are already spending into scholarships for under-resourced Philadelphia students, resulting in 90% dollar-for-dollar tax credits. In my role as Corporate Development Manager, I create and nurture relationships with our corporate partners, educating around and growing these tax credit programs that are essential to funding our student's scholarships.
