I'm an award winning education leader with successful experience as a classroom teacher, administrator at middle and high school level and central office administrator. My career focus has been increasing student achievement through curriculum development and supervision, shifting perspectives, improving teacher/administrator behaviors and practice. My work includes focusing on changing the collaborative planning culture, enhancing the learning opportunities for students and staff and embedding digital resources and tools into the teaching and learning practices at the school. I've been fortunate to present and train at the local, state and national level on a range of topics all centered on shifting thinking, teaching and learning practices. I also serve as a leadership coach for a new principal group in NC. In 2014, I was named a National Digital Principal by NASSP [National Association of Secondary School Principals].
