From the time I was a little girl, I was always taken by the detail in the buildings and homes spread across the Island of Montreal. Whenever we would make the long drive to my grandmothers in the city, I would stare endlessly through the car window at all the architecture lining the streets. Some 20 years later I have earned the honored privilege to design custom homes, assist in designing custom collections and draft the technical plans that have become my contribution to the city’s history of architecture. This experience has gifted me with the knowledge of precision and coordination involved in making these projects come to life.

I began serving simply because it was a job that paid well and it afforded me flexible hours. I had no idea how much I was going to take away from this experience. It has helped in the development of my social skills and interactions with people of all diversities. It is one of the few work environments that affords you the opportunity to interact with such a large genre of different people. Everyone needs to eat right? I have served families, couples, young and old, individuals, business men, fundraisers, bikers, company owners and the list goes on. I have learned the art of conversation and how tailored it can be. Equally I have adopted a love for the culinary experience from the initial sip of one’s first aperitif until the last morsel of dessert to caress one’s pallet.

Upon completion of my studies in commercial and residential drafting, I had the fortune to intern at one of the most talented firms I know. It exposed me to the variety of work that one can choose to specialize in and granted me the opportunity to touch upon the design aspect of drafting and test my creative skill set.
