North Carolina native and East Carolina Pirate for life - arghhh! After years of working as a contract and project coordinator in the medical device and HR sectors, I decided to leverage my experience and make a career change into the construction industry. I recognized that I have a passion for all things construction - whether it's getting hands-on with projects, watching property renovations on TV & around the Triangle, or tackling DIY projects at home. I enjoy every aspect of construction.Throughout my career, I have developed a niche for delivering results, demonstrating strong customer service skills, and being an effective team player. My focus has always been on achieving objectives while nurturing positive relationships with clients and colleagues.During my internship at Brasfield & Gorrie, I have worked with cross-functional teams, while contributing to project planning, scheduling, closeout and document control. My greatest achievements at B&G were championing the submittal and procurement process and being known as the "Punch Queen". Having a strong attention to detail, knowledge of the project drawings and specifications, and hands-on experience that gave me insight as to what is acceptable in the industry contributed to these achievements.I thrive in dynamic environments and am excited to contribute to projects that make a positive impact.
