About Anna Mcdermott
Anna has worked in ecological consultancy for more than 10 years. Her clients have included private developers, local government and infrastructure companies and she works on a wide range of projects across the country. Anna has extensive experience in dedicated species surveys, including bats, reptiles, great crested newts, water voles, otters and badgers. She has successfully designed and implemented mitigation measures for a number of protected species. Anna is skilled at balancing the timing and needs of the development with those of ecologically sensitive sites and their surroundings, through effective liaison with clients, statutory bodies and wildlife groups. Anna has also produced and currently holds European Protected Species (EPS) mitigation licences for bats and great crested newts, and is a Registered Consultant for the Bat Mitigation Class Licence.
