Replace the American healthcare industry with an American health promotion industry; this, is a long-term BHAG goal. It is my, and Inoculitics’, BHAG. "The best [Big Hairy Audacious Goals] BHAGs require both building for the long term AND exuding a relentless sense of urgency: What do we need to do today, with monomaniacal focus, and tomorrow, and the next day, to defy the probabilities and ultimately achieve our BHAG?” –Jim CollinsThis BHAG will not be accomplished in my lifetime. There are no traditional investment dollars, sufficiently patient, to see it through. Even impact investors are likely to avert their eyes. So, what do we need to do today, with monomaniacal focus, and tomorrow, and the next day, to defy the probabilities and ultimately achieve this BHAG? Our first step is to answer this question: What might an American health promotion industry look like in 2073, if we find a way to succeed? I’ll get back to you on that.
