The opportunity to join Rock Solid Exhibitions came as a surprise through mutual friends. The director and owners of Rock Solid Exhibitions recognised my hard working ethic and determination to commit to a job and think fast when it comes to learning and processes. I initially took on a more laboured job as a fellow contractor in this small company of no more than 5. This enabled me to develop confidence in problem solving and get used to the product - how it's constructed, the material and the job protocols on site.For the first couple of years we would travel up and down the country visiting venues ranging from Excel, The NEC and Olympia to the reaches of Scotland, Wales and mainland Europe (Germany, France, The Netherlands). Skills developed include the driving of long wheel-based vehicles, quality standards, health and safety compliance, cooperation in teamwork and problem-solving onsite.With the years of experience and the small size of the company, an opportunity opened to incorporate my interests in graphical 3d design. I took it upon myself to learn the basics of Trimble SketchUp 3D design and rendering software during downtime to offer in-house service that would ultimately convert more clients during the pitching process of the sales team. This became a great resource for Rock Solid Exhibitions, converting clientele and offering a bespoke design process that complemented final stand design concept presentations and hand overs - the client could see what they were getting!

Outlet Store as temporary Christmas sales staff, exceeding expectations with PST and daily quotas I was offered a full-time contract that would continue for the next 48 months. During employment, I developed customer service skills, creating mutual rapport to seeking opportunity and closing deals. Working as part of a team was crucial in maintaining a flow on the shop floor, this demanded an understanding of liaising and communicating clearly with peers and co-workers on all levels - out back of store, externally and within managerial positions.Offered an opportunity to take on Team Leadership role that incorporated visual POS Specialist training towards the end of my employment but wanted a change from Retail at this time.
