If you're looking to bounce some creative ideas off of someone, I'd love to hear what you're cooking up, and even get involved if it makes sense to do so.After graduating from Winona State University with a bachelor's in mass communication with an emphasis in journalism and double minor in public relations and film studies, I landed back in my hometown, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It just feels meant to be. Working as an editor at Volume One magazine, an independent, bi-weekly arts + culture media company founded in 2002, I am writing more and having the most fun I've had in some time. In my first year as a V1er, I was honored to receive a gold award from the Milwaukee Press Club for a collaborative video and social media multimedia project with co-editor Sawyer Hoff and videographer Ma Vue. Since then, I've transitioned into roles as the "Life" and "Kids" sections editor (food + drink, recreation), dabbled in social media management, managed editorial interns coming from area universities, and been a worker bee at lots of community-focused events.Let's connect
