Volunteer and non-profit work is something that is very important to me. I had the privilege to work as an intern in the summer of 2022 at my church, Mt. Olivet. I worked with some amazing people where we completed projects and focused on youth programs. My most exciting adventure has been to travel to Rome, Italy this fall for a study abroad semester. This was an incredible experience where I learned to juggle the coursework of European-style classes with traveling across the country. Studying abroad through the University of St. Thomas was a unique and challenging experience. Our community was tight-knit and we often traveled together to tour different parts of the country. One of my favorite trips we took was for our Theology class, we went to Assisi to learn about the work St. Francis of Assisi did.
