I am a UCLA graduate seeking research, internship or job opportunities in the health sciences that will allow me to make a direct and positive impact on our changing world.My two biggest passions in life are visual design and biological science. It seems like a strange combination at first glance but my artistic skill has been instrumental when presenting my knowledge and ideas to others. I can effectively communicate complex information to an audience because I prioritize clarity. This understanding comes from my technical background in visual art, where I learned how to use shapes and colors to clearly convey ideas to the viewer. My goal is to find a career that allows me to apply the knowledge I’ve gained while also making that knowledge accessible to the greatest number of people.Throughout most of my academic career, I’ve had experience tutoring a variety of students in a wide range of subjects. In high school I was a peer tutor through the National Honor Society and in college I worked as a Peer Learning Facilitator for UCLA’s Athletics Department. During my involvement with both of these organizations I learned how to teach and explain the knowledge I previously learned to my fellow peers.
