Project Specialist - Practice Development
CurrentCurrent roles include:Project lead – Stable Lives, Safer Streets programme, a partnership between CES, University of Limerick & Queen’s University, Belfast. This Shared Island initiative will establish a research hub delivering policy-relevant primary evidence to better understand the vulnerabilities that lead some young people to engage in crime, and develop more effective responses. The CES team will -establish procedures informed by implementation science to ensure the optimum translation of policy into practice and-build capability in Implementation within the host universities to enhance the social value impact of academic research.Project lead – Enabling Community Outcomes: a programme of training and support aimed at building the capacity of the voluntary and community sector in evaluation and project implementation, including the Evaluating Impact Programme.I am also working with Science Foundation Ireland and the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.Previous projects include work with Carnegie UK Trust, NI Civil Service Innovation Lab, City of Dublin Education & Training Board, the National Office for Suicide Prevention. I also led on the National Lottery Community Fund's Reaching Out, Supporting Families Programme, where we delivered an annual learning and networking programme for 36 VCSE projects and captured and celebrated the learning from this seven-year family support programme.
