My passion for people drives my love for marketing. The psychology behind marketing consistently motivates me to ensure that I am meeting a consumer need or desire. I’ve marketed products and services that I’m both passionate about and don’t have an affinity for, however; solving a consumer need state or conveying solutions through marketing for an identified gap are part of my core strengths.I’ve been successful in many positions throughout my marketing career focused on brand management, relationship marketing, consumer engagement, affinity marketing, brand awareness, and experiential marketing. From my personal and professional experience, I’ve learned the following about myself:• I enjoy helping people fall in love with brands. • I’ve got a knack for translating brand messages and consumer insights into stories with which consumers can connect. • I’m a marketing geek who loves other marketing geeks because we get to create stories, partnerships, and connections that resonate with people – which makes us look pretty cool. • I believe in data, insights, and research or simply put - information. Both personally and professionally, I’ve found that more information aides in successful decision making. • I’m committed to being a better person and professional daily. • Adversity doesn’t define me. Challenges refine my skills as a professional. I always remain calm, but act with intent. • I’m passionate about building best-in-class marketing programs, while growing the people who manage and support them. • The old adage “strangers are friends we haven’t met yet” completely describes who I am at the core. I love meeting new people and talking about everything from music to marketing. • Family is important – immediate family, work family, fur family. They all bring aspects to your life that makes it fulfilling.
