Working in Production Enablement group to ensure that new and changed services, when implemented, include the proper documentation, work level instructions and training for the service delivery team to properly support and deliver the service to the customer.

Maintain and manage Customer DR plans. Facilitate and coordinate regular testing of plan.

Worked with the Regional Information Security Officer to drive Siemens’ North America Information Security and Business continuity programs. Supported the Operating Company’s Information Security officers as liaison to and from the global Information Security organization and other central groups as needed.

Oversaw and facilitated the rollout of Siemens Public Key Infrastructure and standardized Company ID card in the Americas (North, Central and South) to over 50,000 people in the 18 operating companies

Managed IT infrastructure department with a staff of 25 and an annual budget over $9 million. Responsibilities included server administration and support (file and print, email and application servers), LAN/WAN administration and support, Helpdesk, desk side support and PC hardware pool. The department supported over 2400 users and included 18 remote sites.

Responsible for all data communications. This included LAN, WAN, Internet and the supporting infrastructure. The LAN included a campus environment. The Wide Area Network consisted of 16 locations domestically plus locations in Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and Germany
