I am a dedicated healthcare professional with a diverse and extensive background in emergency and critical care. As a Registered Paramedic and Registered Nurse, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my role at SA Ambulance where I work as an Intensive Care Paramedic. I have completed a Masters in Critical Care Paramedicine, underscoring my commitment to advancing my expertise in high-stakes medical environments. I am passionate about the evolution and expansion of community paramedicine, evidenced by my co-authorship of a pivotal paper in the field. I believe that an integrated approach to health care can maximise patient outcomes and minimise health system utilisation. I am deeply involved in professional development and advocacy of paramedicine through my roles as Chair of the Australasian College of Paramedicine International Conference Planning Committee and as a member of both the South Australian Committee and the Community Paramedic Working Group.I am particularly dedicated to enhancing healthcare delivery in rural and remote areas and my interests extend to endurance sports medicine, where I get to combine my personal passion with professional expertise to support athletes in ultra-endurance events with a view towards future research into the medical response models in ultramarathons.
