Matt is a Technical Architect and Head of Capabilities in the Oracle Delivery Unit at Capgemini, where he has worked for the last 9 years. He has worked with Oracle technologies for the last 28 years, with a focus on E-Business Suite and most recently Oracle’s Cloud offerings. Matt focuses on technical architecture, solution architect and systems integration. He has worked across the entire project lifecycle; from initial advisory and strategy conversations, through to project delivery and on to business as usual. Helping organisations understand how new technology and delivery approaches can be used for real business gain. Matt has extensive experience of leading technical and non-technical teams during the project life-cycle, the teams he has led have included local, off-shore and landed resource. He also has considerable experience of technical project management within overall implementation programmes.Matt has spent a number of years in a pre-sales environment spending considerable amounts of time presenting Oracle and Oracle technology to prospective clients. This experience has given Matt exposure to clients and prospective clients at all levels from the Board Room downwards. His speciality is in articulating the technology to a non-technical audience and getting across the view of why the technology matters and can bring business advantage. Matt is the Head of Capabilities for the Capgemini Oracle Delivery Unit Technical Architecture and DBA team. His responsibilities include:• Developing strategies to support the Oracle Delivery Unit• Focusing training, development and growth of the Oracle Delivery Unit• Aiding in the development of the Go To Market strategies for the Oracle Delivery UnitMatt has experience of mentoring and developing technical staff in both project and non-project environments.
