Together with millions of our supporters worldwide, ACS helps people stay well and get well, find cures, and fight back against cancer. ● Executed a portfolio of Relay For Life events, with accountability for income target of $202,000, as well as event-related mission and advocacy activities. Ensured goal achievement through the effective leadership, engagement, empowerment, and mobilization of event volunteers● Recruited, engaged and retained members of the community and sponsors within local Relay For Life and American Cancer Society events● Secured business and corporate sponsorships for local Relay For Life events, resulting in over $15,000 in sponsorship dollars in 2015● Networked with community entities including City Council, Chamber of Commerce and civic groups to maximize local Relay For Life event potential● Created and implemented annual strategic plan to ensure event success and growth● Developed and demonstrated skills in community organization, relationship building, leadership development and talent identification ● Recruited, trained and managed over 60 relationships with community leadership volunteers to ensure successful event execution
