Developed the manufacturing software used by Crowley. This system is integrated with the company's SBT accounting software. The project required extensive collaboration with end users from across the organization. The latest revision of the system was developed as a WPF (C#) browser application. Currently developing this solution as a Silverlight applications to provide instant access to our sales people and customers.Developed software solutions that automatically program the CNC laser etching machine, CNC machining centers, and Wire EDM machines. This has drastically reduced setup time and eliminated the need for highly skilled employees to operate them. Each solution uses data that exists in the accounting and manufacturing systems to automatically create the code required to operate the machines. (VBA, VB.NET, C#.NET)Knowledgeable of statistical process control techniques and ISO9000 implementation. Developed the existing ISO9000 compliant quality control system, prepared the company for a successful registration audit in July 1999, and recently upgraded to ISO 9001:2008. Perform duties as the Management Quality Representative and lead the quarterly management review meetings, as well as prepare the company for biannual surveillance audits.Introduced temporarily into the engineering department as interim engineering manager to set standards, organize the document system, and hire a permanent manager. The file system, database tracking, and standards put in place under my direction substantially reduced design errors and enabled Crowley Tool Company to provide the design tracking needed for ISO certification.
