I am Md Emran Hossain, serving in BD Army since 2006 till date. I am an ex cadet of Cumilla Cadet College. I was commissioned from BD Military Academy in the corp of Artillery in 2006. I have served in BD Army in different capacities of command, staff and instructional appointments. In the capacity of command appoinments I served as Officer Commanding, Second in Command and Company Commander. As staff I served in Border Guard BD (BGB) as Aide de Camp (ADC) to the Director General. I also served as Coordinating Staff to Quarter Master General of BD Army at Army Headquarters, Brigade Major at an operational Brigade (24 Artillery Brigade) Chattagram Hill Tracts and General Staff Officer 2nd Grade at Artillery Directorate of Army Headquarters. As instructor I have served in BD Military Academy as Platoon Commander and Term Commander. I have passed SSC and HSC from Cumilla Cadet College, BSc from National University BD, MSS from BD University of Professionals and undergoing EMBA program in World University of BD. I have completed as many as 10 courses from different institutions of BD Army including staff course from DSCSC and UNMOSOC from BIPSOT. I am also trained on ToT CPX from RSCE, Entebbe, Uganda.I have served in UN mission for two times, first one as contingent member in UNOCI, Ivory Coast from 2009 to 2011 and second one as staff officer, FHQ MINUSCA, Central African Republic from 2021 to 2023.
