Defence Services Command & Staff College

The Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) stands as a premier military institution within the Bangladesh Armed Forces. Established on December 30, 1977, the DSCSC delivers professional military education to mid-career officers selected from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Its mission is to prepare these officers for increased responsibilities in command and staff appointments. The college facilitates joint learning, encompassing Land, Air, and Maritime forces, both domestically and internationally. Recognized as a center of excellence for contemporary military studies, DSCSC has graduated over 5,979 officers, including 1,301 from 44 different countries. Affiliated with the Bangladesh University of Professionals, the college offers an 'MSS in Military Studies' degree upon successful completion of the course. Situated in Mirpur, a suburb of Dhaka city, just 16 km from the city center, DSCSC boasts a picturesque campus equipped with comprehensive infrastructure for education, training, research, housing, and recreational facilities for its student officers.
