Philanthropic Organization for Welfare, Development & Research (POWER) is a national humanitarian and development NGO, established in Afghanistan in 2015. We are committed to tackling the country's most pressing humanitarian and developmental challenges while contributing meaningfully to peacebuilding.
In times of crisis—whether due to conflict or natural disasters—POWER delivers essential resources to ease suffering and promote long-term self-reliance. Our programs prioritize sustainable development, with a strong focus on empowering Afghanistan’s most vulnerable and marginalized communities, especially in remote and underserved areas.
