MD postion is the 'Chief Executive Position' of Dhaka WASA. As MD, was overall administering the activities of Finance, Administration, Operation & Maintenace of the Water Teatment plants and distribution network of water supply in Dhaka City and Narayangonj Town and Sewege Collection, Treatment and Disposal into the river Buriganga of only Dhaka City and Research, Planning and Development of the above two facilities through 4 DMDs heading the 4-Wings placed under MD's Office. Placement of files and proposals for approval of the Dhaka WASA Board and executing the approved files and proposals.Besides all those mentioned earlier, was keeping liaison with the Ministry of LGRD and Coops, the administering Ministry and worked as spokesman of the Authority.

Overall administering the activities of Prodution (Spinning, Weaving, Dying, Printing, Finishing etc., Maintenance of the plant, machinery, equipment & auxiliaries etc. and Marketing of the Raw and finished Yarn and Fabric, Controlling the Administration, Finance, Procurement (Local and Imported) etc. having office in Dhaka, the factory being at Kamarkhand, Sirajgonj.
