(a) Chief of laboratory responsible for analysis of food grains and foodstuff and advise on the mode of disposal of deteriorated stocks(b) Initiate development activities in the field of food safety and food quality(c) Assist Director in all technical matters relating to food safety and food quality(d) Preparation of quality specifications of food commodities procured by Directorate General of Food(e) Member of Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution Sectional Committees on behalf of Directorate General of Food: responsible for the preparation of food standards.
