• Analyze and review the existing Environmental and Social Management Planning Framework (ESMPF), assessing its relevance and applicability to the updated project description• Conduct a gap analysis between the current project status and the existing ESMPF, and update the ESMPF accordingly• Ensure the revised project ESMPF complies with local environmental and social requirements as well as AIIB Environmental and Social Standards (ESSs)• Conduct baseline survey including water and wastewater quality assessment and groundwater source development• Identify and evaluate potential environmental and social risks associated with changes in the project description, assessing their impact on stakeholders and the environment, and propose mitigation measures• Update the ESMPF to recommend a systematic, risk-based approach for selecting appropriate E&S instruments for each subproject• Classify each subproject according to its potential environmental and social risks and impacts• Prepare Environmental and Social Instruments for 5 priority subproject investments• Identify risks to and impacts on vulnerable groups and develop measures for their mitigation• Provide inputs on the tender documents to incorporate E&S requirements and compliance based on the ESMPF
