• Preparation of QAP for steel structure & piping and Establishment of WPS (Welding procedure specifications) & PQR (Process Qualification Record) and welder qualification and conducting & participation of pre-inspection meeting with client and vendor and formulating the ways of inspection as per approved QAP.• Material identification, checking that only approved electrodes and filler are being used, checking welding parameter as per approved WPS, monitoring welder performance and interacting with welder for minimizing welding defect to meet customer requirements. • Stage-wise inspection of fabrication and Erection at site of steel structure, Equipment and piping and coordination with vendor on continuous quality improvement. Updating quality improvement record on daily basis. • Preparation/review of quality documents such as inspection reports (Fit-up and dimensional report), NDT reports, MTC of Raw material & consumable, equipment calibration certificates, WPS/PQR/WQTR, preparation of final dossier prior to acceptance of materials. • Discussion with engineering for any concession/deviation required by vendor, and suggest for easy manufacturing process, change in material as per technical requirement and availability.• Witness of NDT & DT, hydrotest of welding joints and piping. • Checking and certification of contractor claimed bills and Conducting training for contractor workmen for CTQ awareness to achieved required quality of job. Weekly QA meeting with contractor and customer to resolve quality issues.

Project: - Construction of FGD for 2 X525 MW Thermal Power Plant, MPL Dhanbad (Jharkhand)• Responsible for Site progress and QC Management, perform constructability review and work with estimator on alternate construction mean and method, site logistics, general requirements and staffing requirements. • Preparation of FQP/MQP, arranging third party inspection for vendor brought out item, Review and submission of quality dossier for IRN & MDCC, Preparation and establishment of WPS/PQR, witness of NDT & DT testing, leakage test of tanks & absorber, inspection of painting and expediting of complete project work (structural, duct, Absorber, tanks and piping, special material C276, Alloy8926) to achieve project schedule. • Review of MTC & inspection all incoming raw material, Fasteners, and all brought item, preparation/Review of quality documents such as inspection reports (Fit-up and dimensional report), NDT reports, MTC of Raw material & consumable, equipment calibration certificates, WPS/PQR/WQTR, preparation quality protocol of all applicable stage as per QAP. Witness of Non-destructive examination like Die-penetration test (DPT), Ultrasonic test (UT), Radiographic test (RT) and leakage test of duct and tanks• Regular meeting with customer/contractors and HO team for construction method/drawing issues and solution, freezing BBU for smooth billing, material requirements and follow for avoid delay in construction schedule, monitoring on timely billing of contractors for smooth progress of site. • Conducting weekly meetings with Quality and safety team with sub-contractors and customer for maintain sound delivery of project outcome as per FQAP. • Checking and certification of contractor claimed bills and submitting all required documents to customer of RA.
