With over 12 years of diverse and accomplished professional experience, I have had the privilege of working in a multitude of domains. My career journey has taken me through Procurement, International Marketing, Trading systems, Sponsorship Project Management, DPM based Governmental Project works, Marketing and Brand Communication, Media & PR Management, and Hospitality Service Marketing, among others.I am currently serving as the Procurement and Commercial Manager at China Machinery Engineering Corporation Bangladesh Branch, where I lead the Commercial Department. In this capacity, I am responsible for overseeing Procurement and commercial operations , in addition to Logistics, Admin and HR, Preparation of bidding documents, and maintaining crucial correspondences with several government entities. As the Founder and Executive Director of Light Up Bangladesh, I lead a not-for-profit dedicated to empowering youth (15-25) from low-income, garment-based communities through life skills, employability training, and entrepreneurial education. Since 2021, I have developed and implemented the Community-Based Life Skills Development Program, focusing on self-confidence, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork, with the goal of impacting over 100 youths by 2024.In my previous role with Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory (BMTF) Ltd., I actively participated in the coordination of projects utilizing the Direct Procurement Method (DPM). This role involved project selection, diligent monitoring, and the successful execution of various projects for governmental entities. Additionally, I was entrusted with the task of identifying and fostering new business opportunities. My efforts led to the growth and expansion of industrial units specializing in Health & Hygiene products, Automobile assembly, footwear, leather items, LED & CFL Lighting systems, food-graded packaging, agricultural machinery, and steel structured building components, among others. This work was achieved through fruitful collaborations with local and international development partners.My career began with contributions to travel and tourism administrative bodies, hospitality service providers, and globally renowned media agencies. My professional journey has reinforced the importance of adaptability, innovation, and continuous learning. I am passionate about forging new connections, sharing insights, and contributing to innovative ventures.
