Provide challenge to the First Line of Defense’s risk-taking and risk assessments.Evaluate new products and initiatives from an operational risk perspective and provide consultation on new initiatives, business objectives, processes, risk events, controls, and/or monitoring.Evaluate the operational risk profile and risk analysis for the business, culminating in monthly/quarterly Operational Risk reporting/governance forums and work across the multiple dimensions of operational risk programs and understand how they impact UBS Bank USA (BUSA) and the mitigation required.

Leads and provides direction, guidance and execution for a wide array of strategic initiatives, primarily focusing on Wholesale Portfolio Management and Derivative Counterparty Risk. Focus is on project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed to meet strategic objectives in a timely manner and to defined specifications. Working closely with Head of Wholesale Portfolio Management and other key team leaders including Counterparty Risk, manage end to end project activities such as ensuring objectives met, project planning and timelines, coordination of key stakeholders, issue / risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, and other project documentation preparation for projects of high business complexity involving analytical projects in derivatives, credit risk, portfolio management and credit products. Defines and manages the lifecycle from project initiation through to program closure. Manages and resolves risks, issues and dependencies. Measures and monitors project actuals costs, forecasts and budgets and updates plans with accurate, up-to-date information in a timely manner.
