I am passionate about helping individuals recognize and utilize their strengths in order to move forward toward their goals. I have worked with students, teachers, administration, parents, and community groups who work to promote student academic achievement. It takes a whole person perspective to make a difference. I believe it also takes the effort and commitment from the community to support students reach their full potential. Listening, patience, perseverance, and more importantly, building relationships and are key to implement strategies to work towards improve student learning and achievement. Overall, my educational and professional goal is to lead and serve diverse students and staff to bridge the learning gap. Student needs will always be the primary focus when collaborating with all stakeholders.
