My 20 years of IT experience has incorporated 15 years of architectural specialisation (Application, System and Enterprise levels), and has been supplemented with a Masters degree in Enterprise Architecture (RMIT). This academic foundation complements the extensive industry training that I have received through Toyota, EDS/HP, Gartner, TOGAF, and other sources. My recent roles include performing as a senior consulting architect for the Asia-Pacific practice of EDS, and serving as the Manager of Enterprise Architecture and Strategy at Toyota (current). Experiences with such clients as Toyota, Sensis, Bank of Queensland, Queensland Health, and JUSCO Malaysia have given me an opportunity to work with a wide range of enterprises and industries. Crossing the 'business/technical boundary', my focus has been on planning transformational IT investment and delivering the key components of those transformations; large, high quality, mission critical systems.Respected by my peers and employers, I have received numerous commendations and citations. At Toyota I was selected as the divisional Problem Solving Champion, I received an award for Academic Excellence in a Masters degree from RMIT, and recognition as "EDS Top Talent", highlighting my position as a member of the most valuable 2% of EDS employees. I have been invited to present at specialty conferences in Australia and abroad, with my last presentation to CeBIT on the Future of Data Centres receiving wide interest and reporting in the media.Specialties: Internet and web technologies, enterprise architecture, mentoring, and team leadership.
